In order to give you the best experience on our Platform, Monytize may collect information about you. Typically, we may ask you to submit personal and/or demographic information if you decide to:
- sign up for a Monytize account (i.e., purchase a membership plan);
- use our Monytize Referrals feature; and/or,
- sign up to receive Monytize newsletters.

The types of information requested for each feature above and the way the information is used are detailed by category below. Under all circumstances, we will only collect the information deemed reasonably necessary to fulfill your online requests and our legitimate business objectives.


To create a Monytize account, we ask you for certain personally identifying information, including your full name, e-mail address, postal address, telephone number, and billing information (such as a credit card number). We may also ask you to create a password and to provide other non-personal information such as your gender, game and platform preferences (including information about the games and hardware you own), hobbies and interests, and other information (also known as "demographic information"); and, we may link this demographic information to your personal information.

Once collected, we use the information above to: (i) create and give you access to your Monytize account; (ii) process and ship your orders; (iii) communicate with you (via e-mail or phone) about the status of your orders; (iv) answer any requests that you may have; and, (v) send you Monytize newsletters.

From time to time, we are approached by third party companies and organizations that provide game-related special offers or other offers that we believe may be of interest to you. To extend these offers to you, we may use your Monytize account information to send out promotional mailings on their behalf. If you decide to sign up for a third party offer, then with your consent we may also share your Monytize account information with the third party offer provider. We see this as a value-added service helping you find useful products or services. We strive to limit the notices and communications to those that we think you would appreciate receiving. If you want to be excluded from these promotional mailings, you may opt out by logging in to My Account and updating your E-mail Subscriptions.

We may use your Monytize account e-mail address to send you service-related announcements that tell you about updates to our Privacy Policy or Terms of Use, new areas or features on our Platform, changes to our online service or technical support policies other related changes.

We may also use your personal and demographic information in aggregate for our internal marketing and demographic studies, so we can constantly improve the online products and services we provide you and to better meet your needs.

We may retain the details of transactions or payments you make on Monytize. However, we will only keep your payment source account number with your consent.

We offer contact importer tools to help you upload your friends’ addresses so that you can find your friends on Monytize, and invite your contacts who do not have Monytize accounts to join. If you do not want us to store this information, visit this help page . If you give us your password to retrieve those contacts, we will not store your password after you have uploaded your contacts’ information.

We keep track of the actions you take on Monytize, such as adding a friend, becoming a fan of a Monytize Page, joining a group or an event, creating a photo album, sending a gift, poking another user, indicating you “like” a post, attending an event, or authorizing an application. In some cases you are also taking an action when you provide information or content to us. For example, if you share a video, in addition to storing the actual content you uploaded, we might log the fact you shared it.

When you access Monytize from a computer, mobile phone, or other device, we may collect information from that device about your browser type, location, and IP address, as well as the pages you visit.




When you use the Monytize Referrals Program (or the "Referral Program"), we may ask you to provide information such as your friends' first names and e-mail addresses and your first name and e-mail address. In return, your friends will be given the opportunity to become a Monytize member with a choice of a free Monytize trial membership or discount pre-paid membership, and will also be given the opportunity to make referrals to their friends. During and after participation in the Referral Program you and/or your friends may receive additional communications from us or our vendors in relation to the Referral Program and you and/or your friends' participation in it. The data collected through the Referral Program is only used for the operation and ongoing maintenance of the Referral Program and will not be distributed to any third parties other than those Monytize vendors that may be helping us in the operation and maintenance of the Referral Program. You and your friends may opt-out of participation in the Referral Program at any time via opt-out links in all communications made to you and your friends through the Referral Program, or by sending an e-mail to friends_optout@Monytize.



You may sign up to receive information about Monytize products and services by selecting which newsletters you wish to receive and providing us with your e-mail address. We use the information you provide us to fulfill your request for Monytize newsletters only and for no other purpose. You may choose to stop receiving these newsletters by unsubscribing through a link in each newsletter sent to you.



You may sign up to receive Monytize SMS Alerts to your mobile device that inform you when Monytize has shipped and received your game rentals. When you sign up to receive Monytize SMS Alerts, we ask you to submit the mobile phone number to which you would like the alerts to be sent. Mobile phone numbers collected on the Monytize SMS Alerts Preferences page will only be used for delivery of requested SMS alerts, and for no other purpose, and will be otherwise treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You may choose to stop receiving Monytize SMS Alerts via the unsubscribe option in each SMS alert sent to you.



If you choose to contact us using this form, we may ask you to provide your first name, e-mail address, and a description of your question or comment. This form is intended for questions and comments only. We use the information you provide solely to respond to your inquiry and for no other purpose. We may retain and aggregate your comments for demographic purposes and to improve our service.



We designed our privacy settings to enable you to control how you share your information on Monytize. You should review the default privacy settings to make sure they reflect your preferences. Here are some specific things to remember:

- You can control the visibility of most of the information you share on Monytize through the privacy settings you select.
- Certain categories of information such as your name, profile photo, list of friends and pages you are a fan of, gender, geographic region, and networks you belong to are considered publicly available, and therefore do not have privacy settings. You can limit the ability of others to find this information on third party search engines through your search privacy settings .
- Some of the content you share and the actions you take will show up on your friends’ home pages and other pages they visit.

- Even after you remove information from your profile or delete your account, copies of that information may remain viewable elsewhere to the extent it has been shared with others, it was otherwise distributed pursuant to your privacy settings , or it was copied or stored by other users.
- You understand that information might be re-shared or copied by other users.
- Certain types of communications that you send to other users cannot be removed, such as messages.
- When you post information on another user’s profile or comment on another user’s post, that information will be subject to the other user’s privacy settings .
- If you use an external source to publish information to Monytize (such as a mobile application or a Connect site), you should check the privacy setting for that post, as it is set by that external source.


When you use the Monytize Platform with your friends, Monytize does not store or collect any of the information you enter (email addresses, login information, etc...) to share these pages. Because we don't store your information or your friends' information, we will never send spam to you or your friends, or sell your personal information to others.




We take steps to ensure that others use information that you share on Monytize in a manner consistent with your privacy settings , but we cannot guarantee that they will follow our rules..



If you choose not to submit personal information when requested, you will not be able to rent or buy video games from Monytize and it will limit the services we can provide you. For example, if you refuse to share your email address, you will not be able to create a Monytize account or receive our newsletter. To simply browse our Platforms, however, you do not need to give us any personal information.


Like many Web sites, Monytize sets “cookies” on your computer. Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser, allowing us to automatically identify you when you return to our Platform. They help us to match the games you’ve chosen to rent or buy with your individual account, and to personalize the Monytize Platform for you. Information contained in a cookie may be linked to your personally identifying information. If cookies are not enabled on your Web browser, you will not be able to use the Monytize Platform or the Monytize service. The "help" menu on most Web browsers will tell you how to enable cookies.

Your order and billing history are also tracked automatically from the beginning of your Monytize membership. This allows you to log in to My Account and see a complete list of games you’ve rented or bought from us. In the course of serving advertisements to this site, our third-party advertiser may place or recognize a unique cookie on your browser.



The information that you disclose on the Monytize Platforms is collected by Monytize or by a vendor on Monytize's behalf; and, is used in accordance with the practices set forth above. A breakdown of our data disclosure policies follows.



We use outside companies, agents, and contractors (“vendors”) to perform some important Monytize tasks, such as processing credit card transactions, delivering your orders, and operating and maintaining our Referral Program. In the course of doing so, these vendors can come into contact with some of your personally identifying information. However, we only give them access to the information they need in order to actually perform their tasks, and they are bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy-that is, they must treat your personal information the same way we do.

If you decide to join our affiliate program, please note that the information collected on the publisher application form is collected and controlled by Commission Junction (not Monytize) and is therefore subject to their privacy policy. Once collected, Commission Junction may share certain publisher information with us to help facilitate the affiliation or allow us to contact a publisher directly.




From time to time, we may run contests, special offers, or other events or activities ("events") on our Platform. Information collected for these events may include personal information (e.g., name, mailing address, etc.) and may be collected by or shared with a third party sponsor, co-sponsor, or other reputable third party (e.g., promotional partner, retailer, or game or magazine publisher). If you provide information to such third parties, you give them permission to use it for the purpose of that event and any other use that you approve. We cannot control third parties' use of your information. If you do not want your information to be collected by or shared with a third party, you can choose not to participate in these events at the time of the contest/event or when the information is collected.

In some instances, we may have an arrangement with a promotional partner or retailer, whereby they share with us customer information collected on their Platform. In the event that we receive such data and combine it with our customer records, the combined information will be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Otherwise, all such information is subject to the privacy policy under which it was collected.

If you wish to opt out of receiving the Monytize newsletter, special offers, and promotional information, log in to My Account and change your E-mail Subscriptions; or, contact support@Monytize. In addition, at the bottom of every Monytize newsletter sent to you, we provide you the opportunity to discontinue receiving future communications (i.e., unsubscribe).



To view or update your name, e-mail address, password, billing address, credit card number, e-mail subscription preferences, or other account information, log in to My Account. There is a link to My Account on most pages of the Monytize Platform. Please note that you must log in with your e-mail address and password before you can update any account information. If you believe that your account information contains errors, and you cannot correct those errors from the My Account page, please contact Customer Service.



Though the Monytize service is fun for all ages, you must be 18 years or older to create a Monytize account and become a member. Parents who wish to create an account on behalf of their children may do so, provided that the parent is the account holder. We encourage parents to use our Parental Controls feature, which will allow you to control which movies your child can rent or purchase under your account. We do not allow anyone under 13 years of age to use the Monytize Platform.



Monytize maintains industry standard procedures to protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the personal information collected from our Platform visitors. Monytize uses a secure server to encrypt all of your personal information. The secure server employs Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, the most advanced encryption method available today. To protect your information from unauthorized access or use, we use only the most advanced technology and security features for the Monytize Platform. We will continue to update and enhance our security practices as new technology becomes available. We have also implemented strict security guidelines for our employees, partners, and vendors. While we make every effort to ensure the security of your personal information, no data transmission can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
